GTA 6 PS5 bundle: which console bundles actually exist (PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox)

Sony and Rockstar have a marketing partnership around GTA 6, and many sites conclude that a PS5 bundle is "imminent". In practice, neither Sony Interactive Entertainment, nor Microsoft, nor Rockstar Games has announced a console sold with the game. In the US, a check on September 25 found no bundle at PlayStation Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart or GameStop.

🟡 An official bundle is still possible before November 19: Sony often times its hardware offers to big game launches. But until there is an announcement, any date or price you read elsewhere is a guess.

These packages were created by the stores themselves: a console from their catalog and a code for the game, sold under a single listing.

Prices recorded by the specialist press (GinjFo, PlayStationInfo, Netzwelt, TV Movie) on the dates shown. These offers move fast: check the retailer's listing before buying.

Two things to keep in mind. Amazon.de's Xbox Series X bundle contains a refurbished console, not a new one. And every one of these bundles ships the game as a code, just like the boxed copies sold on their own: see GTA 6 physical edition without a disc.

In Europe, since the April 2, 2026 price increase, Sony's official prices are €649.99 for the PS5 with disc drive, €599.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition and €899.99 for the PS5 Pro. GTA 6 costs €79.99 / $79.99 for the Standard edition.

In other words, these bundles carry no discount. And since some retailers sell the game below list price (as low as €60 in France, see GTA 6 at Leclerc), buying the console on one side and the game on the other currently costs less than a bundle.

The only real benefit of a retailer bundle is convenience: one order, and a console set aside for you. That matters most for the PS5 Pro, where stock is tight: in early September, the German press could find only one retailer still selling it at list price.

The only official PlayStation hardware in the game's colors is a pair of limited-edition DualSense controllers, announced in early September 2026:

• two versions, one black and one white, with a palm tree pattern and the "VI" on the touchpad;
• price: $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99;
• release on November 19, 2026, with pre-orders open since September 10.

With no official bundle, the simplest route is to pick the console on its own, then buy the game wherever it is cheapest.

• PS5 Digital Edition: the cheapest PS5, and enough since GTA 6 does not exist on disc. See the listing on Amazon.
• PS5 with disc drive: only useful if you own games or movies on disc. See it on Amazon.
• Xbox Series X: the Microsoft equivalent. See the listing on Amazon.
• PS5 Pro: the game carries the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" label, but the improvements are not detailed. Read GTA 6 at 30 or 60 fps before paying the premium over a regular PS5.

It depends on your situation.

• You want to play on November 19: don't wait. Nothing guarantees a bundle will be released, or that it will be cheaper. Buy the console now and pre-order the game so you can preload from November 12.
• You can wait a few weeks: Black Friday falls on November 27, eight days after launch. That is when consoles are most often discounted, with or without a game.
• You are after a PS5 Pro: stock is the real risk. If you find one at list price, reserving it is safer than waiting for a hypothetical bundle.

We will update this page as soon as an official bundle is announced.
