If you are looking for the list of GTA 6 cheat codes, it does not exist yet. Outside Rockstar and a handful of journalists, nobody has played the game, and no codes have been published. Sites already showing a "complete list" made it up or copied it from unverifiable leaks. Here is what you can reasonably expect based on the studio's previous games. This page will get the real codes once they are found, after the November 19 release.
What is confirmed today
🔴 No official cheat codes. Rockstar has not published any codes and has not said whether GTA 6 will have them.
🔴 No reliable list. Lists presented as coming from the 2022 or August 2026 leaks cannot be verified, and a game's codes often change right up to the final version.
Every GTA has had cheat codes
The tradition goes back to GTA III. Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA V all had codes, and so did Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar has never dropped them from a single-player game, which makes them very likely in GTA 6.
How you enter them has changed from game to game:

How they could work in GTA 6
🔴 Speculative: nothing has been shown. On PS5 and Xbox, the two most likely methods are still a controller button combination during play or a number dialed on the phone, as in GTA V. Rockstar could also bring back Red Dead Redemption 2's system, with codes unlocked as you progress.
What cheats cost you in GTA V
In GTA V, entering a cheat code disabled trophies and achievements for the rest of the session. Cheats were also unavailable in GTA Online.

Watch out for fake lists and "generators"
Every big Rockstar release attracts sites and videos promising exclusive codes, unlimited money or early access. For GTA 6, three signs should set off alarm bells:
- A complete list published before November 19. Nobody can know the codes before getting their hands on the game.
- A "generator" asking for your PlayStation or Xbox login. It is an attempt to steal your account, without exception.
- A file to download to "unlock" codes. That does not exist on consoles.

Can you use cheat codes in GTA Online?
In GTA V, no: cheats were limited to story mode. GTA Online is not part of GTA 6's launch, and nothing suggests Rockstar will change that rule.
