The properties of GTA 6
Houses, safehouses, businesses: Rockstar hasn't published any details on GTA 6's real estate. Here's what the trailers have shown of Jason and Lucia's living spaces, and what the series' history lets us anticipate for buyable properties.
What we've seen in the trailers
Motel room
Jason and Lucia are shown in a modest motel room across several trailer scenes — a more precarious starting point than GTA V's mansions.
Trailer / mobile home
A trailer, likely tied to Lucia's family, appears in scenes around the penitentiary and her early story beats.
Safehouse with a weapon stash
The Extended Look mentions storing surplus weapons in a safehouse, which implies at least one dedicated storage location for the player.
What Rockstar's track record suggests
GTA V offered around fifteen buyable properties (apartments, mansions, hangars, garages), each with its own perks. GTA Online then built a genuine real-estate empire: nightclubs, bunkers, warehouses, luxury properties, added through updates over several years. For GTA 6's story mode, the most likely scenario is a system of safehouses tied to story progression, as in GTA V — the scale of a full purchasable business system seems closer to what GTA Online built after the fact than to day-one solo content.
